TORONTO, ON, JULY 5, 2024 /insPRESS/ – The Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association successfully hosted its highly anticipated 4th Annual Canadian Claims Summit on June 25, 2024, at the Marriott Toronto Airport hotel. With over 100 industry delegates in attendance, the conference featured a stellar lineup of speakers who provided invaluable insights, fostered collaboration, and tackled pressing issues impacting Management and Executive Level Industry Claims Leaders.
The summit showcased a thoughtfully curated program focusing on the latest trends in the claims industry, with engaging panel discussions on topics such as the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on claims management, addressing staffing challenges in insurance adjusting, and effectively managing the uncertainties of catastrophe claims. Attendees also participated in an interactive keynote address delivered by the renowned claims specialist, Carl Van, President & CEO of the International Insurance Institute Inc.

Carl Van, ITP, is President & CEO of International Insurance Institute Inc. He is one of the most highly sought after keynote speakers and presenters at claims conferences in Canada and the U.S. An internationally recognized expert in the claims organization, he has been in the insurance claims industry since 1980 and has dedicated his life to studying the claims environment, developing classes and training programs to improve the success of individuals working in the industry.
In addition to the panel discussions, the Claims Summit also recognized outstanding contributions within the claims industry by conferring well-deserved awards.
