GATINEAU, QC, NOVEMBER 11, 2024/insPRESS/ – Steamatic Canada presented six awards to recognize employees and franchises who have stood out over the past year. Employees and franchise owners from across Canada gathered to celebrate the exceptional work of the #SteamTeam members.
The 2024 Steamatic Canada Annual Gala award winners are:
Compliance Award – Vaudreuil-Salaberry
This award highlights the ongoing efforts of franchisees to meet insurers’ requirements. The Vaudreuil-Salaberry franchise stands out within the network by adhering to insurance standards and consistently meeting prescribed deadlines.
Best HR Practices – Sept-Îles
This award recognizes the franchise with the best human resources practices. Over the past year, the Sept-Îles franchise implemented an employee recognition program and successfully recruited five foreign workers to address labor shortages. They have continued their initiatives in training and development while promoting company culture and employee well-being.
Employee of the Year – Josiane Lauzon, Operations Manager at Steamatic Lanaudière
This award honors the employee who has distinguished themselves through excellence, a positive attitude, exemplary customer service, and a positive impact on colleagues, fully reflecting Steamatic’s values. In September 2024, Josiane celebrated her first anniversary as Operations Manager at Steamatic Lanaudière. Her communication skills, unwavering respect, dedication, and leadership are just a few of the qualities valued by her colleagues and clients. Last August, during Hurricane Debby, Josiane worked tirelessly every day to support her team.
Franchise of the Year – Steamatic Mauricie
This award is given to the franchise that best upheld the franchise agreement, promoted the brand, and demonstrated active marketing efforts in their community. The Steamatic Mauricie franchise is always ready to participate in all Steamatic Canada initiatives and is highly involved in the community. The franchise adheres to the franchise agreement and Steamatic standards while finding innovative ways to stand out.
Employer of the Year – Steamatic Lanaudière
This award recognizes the employer who best embodies Steamatic Canada’s values and exemplifies leadership and cohesion. Mathieu Lauzon’s participative management style and compassionate approach foster a work environment rooted in respect and solidarity. Mathieu shares his technical expertise through specialized training and valuable advice. Over the past year, he has led numerous projects to enhance the well-being and comfort of all employees.
Insurers’ Choice Award – Steamatic Québec
This award, chosen by insurers from across the national network, recognizes the franchise that has won insurers’ hearts, as determined through a survey of insurers.
Anniversary Award – 10 Years Steamatic Vaudreuil-Salaberry
For a decade, the continuous commitment and unwavering dedication of the Vaudreuil-Salaberry franchise have been invaluable pillars of our success. Through their expertise and professionalism, they have built lasting trust with their clients and established a reputation for excellence. Their hard work and passion inspire all franchisees nationwide.
