Diablo 4 has a plethora of bosses to fight, and they can be fought in multiple places in the game. You can stumble upon bosses in Diablo 4 while doing your main story line, dungeons, strongholds, world events, and much more. So it is important to understand the mechanics behind how bosses work in Diablo 4.
In this article, we will go over the top 5 bosses that we had a hard time fighting our first time around while doing it in World Tier 2.
5. Elias, Fallen Horadrim
Elias, Fallen Horadrim is the one behind Lilith’s rebirth. We got to see him in the initial game reveal trailer all the way back in BlizzCon 2019 summoning Lilith in a bloody ritual which included 3 victims.
You fight Elias twice in the game, the first time being in Act 3, and the second one being in Act 5, and this is when you actually put him to his misery. Both fight will have completely different mechanics.
4. Airidah, Keeper of the Dead
Fighting her in Act 2, Airidah Keeper of the Dead is the first boss in Diablo 4 that will start giving you a hard time. The bosses in the earlier Act and before Airidah are pretty simple and they are just there to show you around how boss mechanics work in Diablo 4.
Airidah will constantly put pressure on you throughout the entire battle with her tornadoes and lightning bolts. Fighting her for the first time was not pleasant, and she did pose a bit of a challenge.
3. Astaroth
One of Mephisto’s lieutenants, reborn by Lilith through her world crystal, Asatorh is an epic boss fight in Diablo 4, and it will be a challenge to the newer players in the genre. Even though his mechanics are pretty simple, he does move around alot and he will constantly keep you under pressure.
You will fight Astaroth in Act 2, after Yorin loses his life to Astaroth.
2. Brol, the Tyran King
Apart from Lilith, Brol the Tyrant King is the one who gave us and so many other players such a hard time that we had to probably fight him for over an hour. The boss is hard because he is going to constantly keep pressure on you with his basic attack, and it really hurts.
Apart from that, he will summon enemies, jump all over the battlefield, rush into you and go berserk when you have dealt enough damage to him.
It is when he goes berserk is when the fight starts to become intense as he is at low health, and you will probably have only one or two health potions left, so you would not want to get hit by any of his abilities during that time.
1. Lilith
The final boss in Diablo 4, Lilith is the main antagonist of the entire story, and you will be fighting her twice. Once in her regular form, and once in a more demonic form that she will take after being defeated the first time around. You will fight Lilith after she had slain Inarius, the fallen Archangel, and her once lover, however, getting to her won’t be easy as she will put you in a nightmare where you will have to fight so many bosses from previous acts all over again.
To put a cherry on top, sometimes you will be fighting two bosses at the same time, and both of them are in this list.
Thats a wrap. These are 5 bosses that are hard to beat in Diablo 4.
