The month of September is coming to an end and there are several events to watch out for this week. In the United States as in Europe, central banks are sharpening their strategies, while on the cryptocurrencies side, several global events will begin. So what are the dates not to be missed?
Monday September 30 – Jerome Powell, Christine Lagarde and EigenLayer tokens (EIGEN)
Several events are expected this Monday, September 30, particularly on the macro side. Across the Atlantic, US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to deliver speechs. He is expected to provide more context on the central bank's recent decision to cut interest rates, with guidance for the remainder of 2024.
On the European side, it is Christine Lagarde who will take part in a major interview. The President of the European Central Bank (ECB) will hold her first “monetary dialogue” within the framework of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
In the United Kingdom, Today we will know how the GDP of the 2nd quarter evolvedwhile in Germany, September inflation figures will be published.
As for cryptocurrencies, the event of the day is to be found on the side of EigenLayer (EIGEN). While the protocol's token airdrop is underway, EIGEN becomes transferable starting today. This means that they can now be freely exchanged: a major development for EigenLayer.

Tuesday October 1 – Unlock of SUI and Zeta, statement from Michel Barnier in France
This Tuesday, October 1st, 2 unlocks are expected. On the one hand that of the smart contracts platform Sui Network (SUI). 64 million SUI will be released, or 2.4% of the supply. This corresponds to a sum of 108 million dollars at current prices.
ZetaChain (ZETA) will also unlock today. The “omni-chain” facilitation platform will release 53 million ZETA. This is 13.4% of the supply and represents a sum of $40 million.

On the French side, this day will mark the general policy declaration of the new Prime Minister Michel Barnier. His words will be particularly listened to as the government took several months to form.
In the euro zone, this will also be the first estimate of inflation for the month of September. As a reminder, inflation reached 2.2% over one year last August.

Wednesday October 2 – Digital Asset Week London, unlock of Cardano (ADA)
This Wednesday marks the start of “Digital Asset Week” in London. This week of conferences will bring together players in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector. This will perhaps be an opportunity for announcements from companies.
Still on the cryptocurrencies side, we note that Cardano (ADA) will carry out a large-scale unlock. 18.5 million ADAs will be released, or a sum of $7.4 million. However, this only corresponds to 0.05% of the ADA supply.

That same day, Worldcoin project token (WLD) will arrive on the Binance Futures derivatives platform. As a reminder, Worldcoin is a project led by Sam Altman, which aims to offer universal means of identification based on the blockchain.
Finally, this Wednesday will also see the launch of DeFi Kingdoms (JEWEL), a “cross-chain” blockchain game, on layer 2 Metis.
Friday October 4 – ETHRome, unlock from IMX
Friday will be the start of the ETHRome hackathon, which will take place in the Italian capital from October 4 to 6. Developers will compete to win various prizes worth a total of $70,000. Side events with industry players are of course to be expected.
An unlock is also worth watching today: that of Immutable X (IMX). Layer 2 dedicated to blockchain games will release 32 million tokens. This is 2% of its current supply, or a sum of $57.8 million at current prices.
On the United States side, unemployment figures will be updated this Friday. They could create a stir, as the presidential campaign accelerates in recent weeks.
