Sherrod Brown is a dying breed. The senator is the only Democrat in Ohio who still holds elected office at the state level in his state. All other positions are held by Republicans. In 2018, he was able to clearly defend his Senate seat, even though Donald Trump had won the presidential election two years earlier in Ohio by eight points. Can he do that again in the November election? The majority in the second chamber of Congress could depend on it.
