TORONTO, ON, NOV 18, 2024 /insPRESS/ – 30 Forensic Engineering, Canada’s leading multidisciplinary forensics firm, is pleased to announce the senior appointment of Mehemed Delibasic M.Sc., P.Eng. as Vice President of the Transportation and Safety group.
Mehemed has over 26 years of comprehensive experience in the fields of transportation engineering and planning, project and program management, and business development in the public and private sectors. He has held engineering licenses in two Canadian jurisdictions, including Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Mehemed has worked on projects encompassing a broad range of transportation fields including multimodal transportation master plans (TMP), municipal and provincial class environmental assessments (EA), transit, active transportation, road/ traffic safety, parking, and road design projects.
Mehemed has gained a solid reputation for the successful management of and involvement in complex multi-modal transportation and EA projects requiring the integration of multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental specialties, as well as the effective management of diverse stakeholders.
He has significant experience working on roadway design projects for both municipal and Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) projects, including 400 series freeways and King’s highways. Mehemed is registered in MTO’s RAQS for Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning categories/specialties.
In 2021 Mehemed was awarded the Transportation Planning Member of the Year by Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) for his significant contributions to the transportation planning profession, demonstrated leadership within the transportation planning field, and is recognized and respected by industry peers as being a subject matter expert in transportation planning and traffic engineering.
Mehemed is a long-time advocate and volunteer in the engineering community and professional associations, including Transportation Association of Canada, Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers, OTC, Association of Consulting Engineering Companies Ontario, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and Professional Engineers of Ontario.
