The Munich District Court has opened insolvency proceedings over the assets of FWU AG. The investor process is already underway. The insolvency administrator explains: “Operations will now continue at full cost.”
The Munich District Court has opened insolvency proceedings over the assets of FWU AG and appointed Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as insolvency administrator. The German company filed for bankruptcy in July 2024, according to a press release.
“The opening of the proceedings is an important milestone. Operations will now continue at full cost,” says Willrodt. Together with his team, he works on future concepts and succession solutions as well as on discussions with potential investors.
FWU Group has around 400 employees worldwide
The FWU Group employs around 400 people worldwide and has ten locations. In Europe, it offers unit-linked life insurance in numerous countries. The funds of existing customers continue to be secured by legal provisions.
