He is one of the collateral victims of the Tornado Cash case started in August 2022: Alexey Pertsev. Indeed, he is one of the developers of the famous cryptocurrency blender and meets setbacks with the justice of the Netherlands since the protocol was the target of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Treasury of States- United.
After being imprisoned, then released on bail, then sentenced to 64 months in prison, the interested party published a message Thursday on X, in order to inform of his parole so that he can prepare the appeal of his trial:
Dear friends, Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m., I will be free! It is not total freedom, but it is better than prison. Today, a Dutch court has suspended my pre -trial detention on the condition of an electronic bracelet. This will give me the opportunity to work on my call and fight for justice. Thank you to everyone who supported me and who made this possible!
In a second message, the developer also shared a call for donations for whom wishing to support his legal battle, explaining that this had cost him a lot of money:
