Manjit Singh alias Bholu is an Indian criminal who is known who is accused of being one of the sharp shooters among eight who allegedly shot dead the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose wala.

Criminal activities
Manjit Singh alias Bholu and six other members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were captured in Kharar in November 2020. According to reports, they were planning to free the main suspect in the Sonu Shah murder case. Sonu Shah was a real estate agent who was assassinated at his business in Chandigarh’s Burail area. A case was recorded under the Arms Act at the Kharar Sadar police station under Sections 399 (making preparation to commit dacoity), 402 (assembly for the purpose of committing dacoity), and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. Mohali SP Harmandeep Hans said,
Based on their interrogation, it came to fore that they were planning to execute a bank robbery to gather funds with help of armed weapons. It was also discovered that the suspects were planning to help escape Manjit Singh, who is lodged in the Burail Jail, Chandigarh, in the Sonu Shah murder case, from the police custody during a hearing. The suspects are also members of the Bishnoi gang as they were working for Manjit Singh, who is an active member of the Bishnoi group, Their main motive was to free him from police custody while on way to court hearing, for which they had hatched a conspiracy in Sonepat. The accused have disclosed names of three more accomplices, who will be nabbed soon. We are checking their possible hideouts in Mohali. Further investigation is on.”
Manjit Singh is one of the suspects in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, according to police. On 29 May 2022, Sidhu was shot dead by eight sharpshooters in his hometown of Mansa district, Punjab. He was going to a relative’s house driving a Mahindra Thar SUV. On the way, he was stopped by two suspicious vehicles whom he mistakenly thought as his admirers and pulled over for them. Eight shoots came out of the cars and dismounted and opened fire on him for 30 times. He was urgently taken to the Mansa Civil Hospital, where doctors confirmed his dead. Satinder Singh alias Goldy Brar, a Canadian mobster of Punjabi heritage, claimed responsibility for the murder shortly after it occurred. Several state police departments are looking into the idea. So far, the SIT has identified four shooters, but it is not yet ascertained how many of them were there, as no one who can confirm the count has been arrested so far. It could be 8-10.”
It came as a shocking incident for the residents of Garhi Sisana village in Sonipat when Manjit Singh was announced as the one of the suspects in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. They claimed that Bholu was present in his village on the day Sidhu was murdered. His cell phone’s position was also tracked in his village. According to reports, after the assesination, sharpshooter Priyavrat Fauji called Manjit. He became a target of the police only after their conversation. Priyavrata’s involvement in the Moose wala murder case was already disclosed. On 10 June 2022, he was apprehended by police.
Meanwhile, Satinderjeet Singh, alias Goldy Brar, a Canadian-based criminal wanted in connection with Moose wala’s killing, has been served with a Red Corner Notice (RCN). Many vital clues have been discovered in the investigation into Moose wala’s murder, according to the Punjab Police. The murderers’ identities have been disclosed. The getaway routes and methods of the killers have also been exposed. The information has been completely received. Manpreet Manu and Jagroop Singh Roopa of Tarn Taran, Harkamal alias Ranu of Bathinda, Priyavrata Fauji and Manjit Bholu of Sonepat, Saurav Mahakal and Santosh Jadhav of Pune, Maharashtra, and Subhash Banoda of Sikar, Rajasthan, have been identified as the shooters. All of these shooters have been photographed. According to the Punjab Police, the same shooters are accused of assassinating Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa. Three days prior, all of these shooters had assembled on the Kotkapura highway. According to officials, the gunmen are all members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In order to find these shooters, Punjab Authorities has requested cooperation from police in the respective states. The Punjab Police Department is conducting gangster hunts across Haryana-Punjab, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
