The gas and electricity price crisis is hitting the German economy hard. While family businesses in particular have often had to react by discontinuing projects or stopping production, many corporations will soon have to take further measures.
According to a representative survey conducted by the Ifo Institute on behalf of the Familienunternehmen.de foundation, 90 percent of the companies surveyed have already implemented price increases or intend to raise prices again in the coming weeks.

25 percent consider cutting jobs as a measure to respond to rising energy prices.
