Fidor Bank: The exact date for the closure of operations is not yet known
It is not yet known when exactly business operations will be discontinued. According to Fidor, customers want to be contacted promptly to initiate the closure of the account. It is assured that users will have enough time to “transfer banking relationships to a new bank”.
For customers, this means that all business relationships are terminated when the contract is terminated. This also includes the checking and deposit account, the Mastercard and the overdraft facility. Since Fidor is completely ceasing operations, you cannot object to the termination.
