Risk of injury from metal abrasion: Homann informs about recall of Backfisch product
The manufacturer Homann informs about the recall of its “Nordsee Backfisch”. In one batch, it cannot be ruled out that metal abrasion got into the products.
As reported by “Food Warning”, the manufacturer Homann is recalling a baked fish item. The article “Nordsee Backfisch 170 g + 40 ml Remoulade” with the best before date March 22nd, 2023 is affected.
In a preliminary stage of production, in very rare individual cases, a short-term technical problem resulted in dusty metal abrasion on the pieces of fish, Homann Feinkost GmbH announced on Thursday in Bad Essen near Osnabrück.

Consumers who have already bought the baked fish with the affected batch numbers can return the products to the point of sale. The price will then be refunded.
