DUAL North America has announced the appointment of Tricia Loney (pictured above) as head of specialty casualty. The announcement comes shortly after the appointment of Connie Germano as chief casualty officer.
In her new role, Loney will be responsible for ensuring the long-term profitability and sustainability of DUAL’s commercial automobile, construction, environmental liability, excess liability, and worker’s compensation programs. She will report to Germano.
Loney brings with her a 15-year career in the insurance industry, having held various positions at carriers such as CNA Specialty and Nationwide E & S/Specialty. Her most recent roles include assistant vice president of professional liability program development for CNA Specialty and senior director at Nationwide E & S/Specialty.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tricia to our team,” Germano said. “With her strong track record in cross-functional partnerships, extensive expertise in specialty casualty and her proven ability to drive strategic growth, we are confident that Tricia will play a vital role in advancing DUAL Casualty’s vision. We already have an impressive suite of casualty products available to our clients, and Tricia joining the team will undoubtedly strengthen our capabilities in the market and our ability to provide innovative solutions to our network.”
“Having partnered with DUAL on various projects over my career, I am looking forward to being part of the team growing the Casualty business,” Loney said. “We have a wealth of talented people in the division, and I see a lot of potential in what we can do together. I am excited to work with the team to further strengthen our specialty casualty offering and delivering innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of our partners.”
Earlier this month, DUAL announced the appointment of Peter Gosselink as executive vice president of its fine art program. In May, the company named Jim Jinhong head of capacity and product development, D.J. Postles executive vice president of underwriting for NationBuilders Insurance Services, and John Kopach executive vice president of liability.
