Ty Benzo continues to bring culture to street wear fashion

Benzos masterpiece made by Ty Benzo is a luxury street wear brand here in New York City. It started out as Benzo made custom bandanas to then go on and pursue the whole clothing aspect.

How has this journey been ?

“Being a part of this movement has brought my own creativity out and has shown me how different I am. Each piece is made and designed by me. I get to add on paint splatter and create with it. It is a signature to my brand that I make which makes each piece unique in its own way. The motivation behind it is artists like Van Gogh , Virgil , Keith Hearing. Those are for sure the ones who easily catch my eye when it comes to creativity and being unique. The most important thing to tell people while wearing any piece made by me is that you are to be seen. People want to know what makes you a masterpiece.”

This movement is about spreading peace , understanding that you have to work hard and nothing comes easy. Once you get it how hard it is to maintain what you prayed for. To have a Mindset to never accept the answer NO.


Last Saturday January 20th, Benzo put on a fashion show expo highlighting other upcoming brands around New York City. This was the 3rd year,he was  able to put this event together and have another year of success. Not only did he have brands like Fear Greatness,Cite Demon Child, Silver label and others around New York City featured in this. Also this year artists like Lanaa Bandz , Gianni, Varie, Rahh Young , Unknxwn and Cerebral. Hitting the runway and making it a memorable night.

When asked “how does it feel?”

“Honestly , it feels like a dream come true. I used to want to be an actor. Once upon a time my mom sent me to these classes downtown at the CAT youth theater and I wanted to learn about everyone’s job from on the screen to behind the scenes. How does someone put on this big of a production. I guess it was something I always had in me. Yes this was year 3 but it felt different for me. Thank you to my team for helping me along this journey. It has been an amazing, learning experience. There will be a year 4.”

Which means Once you find your “why” you will be forever on the grind.
