Prime Day celebrates its tenth anniversary: date is set
The Prime Day is probably Amazon’s most important and well-known shopping event after Black Friday – at least that was true about a year ago. Amazon Prime Day 2023 presented everything that has existed before in the shadows: “The first day of Prime Day was the biggest sales day in Amazon's history, and Prime members saved more this year than at any other Prime Day event“, said Doug Herrington, CEO of Amazon Stores in a press release dated July 13, 2023.
This year the
Amazon Prime Day is taking place for the tenth time (the “Prime Deal Days” in October are not included here) – and at the same time the online giant is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Therefore, 16 and 17 July 2024 (traditionally Tuesday and Wednesday) there will be a real state of emergency in the online shop. To mark the anniversary, Amazon has “Hundreds of thousands of offers exclusively for Prime members“ has been announced. How many there will actually be remains to be seen. Amazon own brands heavily reduced every year

Where does Amazon Prime Day 2024 come from?
The shopping event was launched on July 15, 2015, to mark Amazon’s 20th birthday and has since become a fixture for bargain hunters in over 20 countries.
