Following on from July, August will not be left out in terms of crypto events. Headlining the event is of course the traditional Surfin'Bitcoin, but other notable events are also worth highlighting.

Surfin'Bitcoin in Biarritz
It is now the big event of August each year for the Bitcoin (BTC) community. This year again, for its 5th edition, Surfin'Bitcoin will invest the Casino of Biarritz.
Among the speakers, well-known personalities from the French ecosystem will speak from August 28 to 30, such as Claire Balva, Charles Guillemet, Amaury de Tonquédec and Stéphanie Cabossioras, to take just a few examples.
Conferences and networking are on the program, on specialized thematic days between beginners, professionals and bitcoiners. As for prices, count on 90 to 500 euros per place depending on the formula and the selected payment method.

Meetup of the Web3 Plebs in Bordeaux
Local events are also in the spotlight in our August selection, including the Meetup Plèbe du Web3, which is held every other Thursday at the Gargalou restaurant in Bordeaux. For the month of August, Bordeaux enthusiasts will meet on August 8 and 22, at 7:30 p.m.
This meetup brings together both beginners and more experts, in order to discuss different Web3 topics while expanding their network.

ZK Hack Montreal
While we tend to focus on French crypto events, our Quebec readers are not forgotten; proof of this is ZK Hack Montreal. As its name suggests, it is primarily a hackathon on the theme of zero knowledge proof technologies.
From August 9 to 11 at the Rialto Theater in Montreal, developers will be able to test new tools and discuss the best way to integrate these innovations into the blockchain applications of tomorrow.

Web3 Summit in Berlin
From August 19 to 21, come to the German capital at Funkhaus Berlin for the Web3 Summit.
The unique thing about this event is that the community can create its own programming. Workshops, presentations and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions will follow one another and speakers like Gavin Wood from Polkadot or Jonathan Levin from Chainalysis are expected.
An entire room is also dedicated to organizing meetings, hackathons, or presenting new ideas to other teams.

Bitcoin Meetup “DUC” Paris Montmartre
Like the Bordeaux meetup described above, Bitcoin “DUC” Paris Montmartre brings together local enthusiasts through regular meetings. This monthly meetup will be held on August 21st from 6pm, at N'Collin's Pub in Paris.
Novices and pros are welcome, for a moment of exchanges and sharing on the world of cryptocurrencies. On site, payments in Bitcoin (BTC) are accepted.

Shaka Biarritz
Just before Surfin'Bitcoin, Shaka Biarritz, formerly known as NFT Biarritz, will return for its 3rd edition and is preparing to welcome 2,000 people from August 26 to 29 at the Raccord.
Networking and conferences are also on the programme, as well as various workshops and activities, all presented by players such as FIFA, Allianz, BNB Chain and Renault Group.
