At the age of 8, she developed an interest in badminton, and her father decided to start her professional training in the game. In 2009, she joined Ravi Shankar Stadium, Durg and did her training under her coach Sanjay Mishra.

Career
While she was in school, she participated in various inter-school badminton competitions. On 24 August 2014, she participated in the All India Ranking Tournament at Sivakasi and won her first gold. In 2016, she continued her training at Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bengaluru. At the 25th Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament (2016), she won twin crowns in U-17 and U-19 girl’s singles. She then won a bronze medal at the Asia U-15 and U-17 junior championships held in Kudus, Indonesia. She went on to win U-17 and U-19 matches in the 42nd Junior National Badminton Championship, Guwahati. One of her best matches was in January 2018 opposite Gayathri Gopichand. The match continued for 63 minutes and was held in Bengaluru. She has participated in many badminton tournaments, like Yonex Sunrise All India Senior Ranking tournament (2019), Suchitra Badminton Academy (2020), Kenya International (2020), All India Ranking tournament (2021), Uber Cup (2022), Asian Games (2022), and Commonwealth Games (2022).
