Kyle Sparkman is the new managing director and head of Allianz Global Assistance in Canada.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been an executive with Allianz for the past five years.

Since joining Allianz in 2019, Sparkman has served as chief operating officer and chief sales officer, demonstrating his exceptional ability to drive organizational success.

Before joining Allianz, Sparkman spent more than seven years at BMO Financial Group, where he had worked his way up to head of Canadian collections. He had a separate stint at BMO Financial Group from March 2001 to January 2010. His time at BMO Financial Group sandwiched almost two years as a senior manager at the Bank of Montreal.
“Known for his customer and partner-focused approach, Sparkman has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing operations with innovative, customer-focused applications, including modernized claims portals and medical assistance systems,” Allianz commented in a release.
“I am honoured to lead Allianz Global Assistance Canada and look forward to collaborating with our talented team to deliver exceptional value to our customers and partners,” Sparkman says in a press release. “Together, we will build on our strong foundation to achieve new heights of success in the Canadian market.”
Sparkman succeeds Chris Van Kooten who departed the company in October 2024.
