Are you interested in blockchain development and considering training? Here is Paul’s feedback to give you an idea of what you can expect from training organized by the Alyra school, which specializes in training future professionals in the sector.
How was my blockchain developer training with Alyra?
I signed up for the blockchain developer training offered by Alyra at the start of my 5th year of computer science studies. Being on a work-study program at that time, I was able to take advantage of my flexible schedule to follow this blockchain developer training offered by Alyra (define and implement an innovation project within an organization).
With the few internships I was able to do during my studies, I was able to finance part of my training thanks to the professional training account (CPF)a very practical financing solution that can even cover the entire cost of a training course.

Alyra, training to integrate the blockchain ecosystem
I was part of the Rinkeby promotion, which brought together a little less than a hundred learners with very varied profiles: students, people in post, job seekers or retrainers. It was really interesting to see all kinds of profiles.
Every Monday, an Alyra talk was organized, during which we had the chance to receive an actor from the ecosystem and listen to the sharing of his experience and his advice. We could also ask him questions around an exchange at the end of the live.
The training was very well organized and we were carefully accompanied. We had access to an Intranet where we could take video lessons at our own pace and a different theme was discussed each week.
Every Tuesday, a live Q&A was organized to find out if any difficulties had ever been encountered. Every Wednesday and Thursday, we performed live exercises related to the theme of the week and videos from the Intranet. At times, we also dealt with a technical subject around smart contracts or the Solidity language.
The training started with a theoretical refresher on topics such as cryptocurrencies, blockchains and proof of work and stake consensus, etc. Then, from the third week, we tackled the practical side with the drafting of smart contracts, the associated tests and the creation of the visual interface (front-end) to interact with our smart contract. These small projects were carried out alone, but we had access to a Discord server to exchange with the trainers as well as the rest of the promotion in case of questions.

This learning culminates in the last weeks with an end-of-training group project. The objective was to carry out a project around Web3 in a group of several learners, but from different courses! Thus, I found myself with learners from the decentralized finance (DeFi) training and also those from the blockchain consultant training.
Depending on the results of the individual projects and the end-of-training project, a skills certificate is issued at the end of the course.
I really liked this training from Alyrathe trainers were pedagogues and passionate, and I learned a lot about the technical aspect of blockchain and the crypto ecosystem in general.
I recommend this training to anyone who wants to get started in Web3 as developers or simply to learn more about this burgeoning technology.
