GFor two weeks, the Offenbach police have been looking for the alleged perpetrators who shot two men in a bar in the city on September 11th. On Thursday morning, investigators were able to provisionally arrest four suspects, it is said. A 48-year-old man was shot dead and a man three years younger was seriously injured. Before the arrests, police officers searched several apartments in Frankfurt and southern Hesse.
As the police continue to report, those arrested are a 33-year-old main suspect and three other men aged 20, 28 and 33, who are currently considered accomplices. Three of them are to be brought before a magistrate on Thursday. There is an urgent suspicion against each of them.
According to current investigations, the shots are related to previous disputes between a group of people and the dead man. The role played by the seriously injured in the conflict is still being determined. Officials have not yet been able to hear the 45-year-old victim, police continue to report.
