I’m so excited to finally share my full review of the AULOVELY tote bag in leather! What I received about this bag is truly amazing. Since it’s a popular bag right now, I’d like to give you my real thoughts and opinions on the bag so far. I’ve been using it for about 2 months, so I think I have a pretty solid idea of its pros and cons.

This tote bag has quickly become my favorite. Compared to many handbags I own, I like the structure and the three pockets inside make it super easy to keep things organized. Plus, the personalized quilting makes this bag feel very unique. I highly recommend it to any woman looking for a handbag that can be worn year round!

Difference Between XL and Mini Tote Bags

One of the many questions I get on Instagram is what I think about the XL size vs the mini tote. Honestly, I like both sizes for different reasons. If I’m going to work or shopping alone, I’ll find myself particularly fond of mini totes, but the XL is perfect for carrying a lot of stuff.

The Mini Tote is 8.5″H x 9.4″W x 3.9″D with a 20″ strap drop, while the XL is 12.9″H x 15.9″W x 6.9″D with a 7″ strap drop. The XL bag also has 2 interior open pockets and 1 large interior zippered pocket, while the mini tote has only one interior zippered pocket, so I found it less easy to organize the contents of the bag with the mini tote.

The great thing about the mini tote is that it can be worn as a crossbody bag. With the XL, you have to carry it as a real handbag. I’ve always been a fan of a good messenger bag (which is probably why I grab a small tote bag more often. You may have seen me wearing this messenger bag all the time. If I don’t have to worry about carrying a lot of stuff around, even more so Easy to put on.

Personalization and Price

Perhaps my favorite thing about AULOVELY tote bags is that you can personalize them in a few different ways. As with most leatherette bags, you can choose to personalize your bag with embossing, hand painting or quilting. All of these are really gorgeous options, but I always prefer quilting because I love the look of it. Embossed for $20, hand-painted for $40, and quilted for $60. I should also note that if you choose the hand-painted bag, it will take an extra 3 days to ship, while quilting adds 1 week to the shipping time.

Storage Space

When it comes to storage space, the XL bag is unbeatable. It has three interior pockets, perfect for organizing everything in my bag. Like I mentioned, when I go anywhere with my husband, I usually bring a lot of stuff. While I do use these clear bags from Amazon to organize things, it would also be nice to have separate pockets inside this bag for easy access to certain items. Some of you are wondering if it has a zipper on the top – it does; I’ve never noticed anything falling out and it’s anti-theft design.

AULOVELY VS LOUIS VUITTON

I have a few questions about how it compares to the Louis Vuitton Neverfull (another favorite of mine!). One thing I like about the AULOVELY tote bag compared to the Neverfull is that it is more organized (though the bottom panel is removable if you want less structure). It has six metal feet so you can protect the bottom of the bag while sitting. Then, obviously, the price of AULOVELY is much lower compared to Louis Vuitton. It looks like AULOVELY is a replica of Louis Vuitton, and the styles of the two are similar. Compared with Louis Vuitton, the price of AULOVELY is usually less than 100 US dollars, while Louis Vuitton usually costs thousands of dollars, or even tens of thousands of dollars. Oh my gosh, that’s a tenfold difference. However, I would say that Louis Vuitton is more “worthy to own”, so I actually think you can treat LV more appropriately as a collectible.

Easy to Use

At the end of the day, the most important thing to look for in any type of bag is its usability. I love a nice bag as much as the next guy, but if it doesn’t give you the space, durability, and structure you need, it’s probably not worth the price. In my opinion, this is a super easy to use handbag that is perfect for whatever stage of life you are in. It’s actually pretty lightweight for its size, and the pockets help me keep things organized and away from the bottom of the bag.

Honestly, I love this tote bag (XL and mini) and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish bag that won’t break the bank but will give you plenty of storage. Plus, the personalization is much different than any other bag I’ve found from any other brand, and this brown goes with everything (though I also love the black and blue versions).
