A 31-year-old is said to have killed his grandparents in their apartment in Swabia. The man reported himself on Whit Monday and said that he killed the couple over 70 years old, the investigators said. In the apartment in Günzburg, police officers and firefighters had found men and wife lifeless. In doing so, they would have discovered traces of a violence. The 31-year-old is now in custody because of urgent suspicion of two-time murder.
The background of the crime initially remained unclear. The suspect did not provide any resilient information that can currently be given to the public, said a police spokesman. The investigation in this case continued.
The extent to which the man could have used a weapon or a tool for the crime remained unclear. Officials secured traces and interviewed possible witnesses at the alleged crime scene. According to the police, the two deaths should be autopsy.
