Ignoto brings a wealth of experience to BIG, having previously served as Senior Vice President of Hagerty’s Insurance Partners Group, where he spearheaded growth and business strategy to support the performance of Hagerty’s major insurance carrier partnerships portfolio of $167 million (USD) and managed its Canadian operations. Prior to his tenure at Hagerty, Ignoto spent 17 years at Aviva Canada, most notably as Vice President of Specialty Personal Insurance – Group, Lifestyle, and High Net Worth. Ignoto’s time at Aviva was characterized by his successes in steering strategic partnerships and managing a national portfolio worth $1.2 billion, serving 900,000 clients.
After experiencing unprecedented growth in recent years, BIG is focusing its efforts on technological innovation and digital transformation to redefine industry standards. As CIO, Ignoto will leverage his experience and expertise in business strategy, organizational development, and underwriting to align BIG’s Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Life & Financial Divisions with this strategic direction.
