BrokerLink has added three more brokerages to its roster with the acquisition of two brokerages in Ontario and one in Alberta.
The Intact Financial Corporation subsidiary announced Monday the acquisition of Alberta-based Grandin Agencies Insurance on Sept. 1. It also acquired Beauchamp Insurance Limited, operating as All-Risks Insurance Brokers Sudbury and 2694215 Ontario Inc., operating as All-Risks Insurance Brokers Callander, effective Oct. 1.
For more than four decades, Grandin Agencies has served the community of St. Albert, Alta., and neighbouring areas with personal and commercial insurance options. The family-owned and operated business offers tailored insurance solutions for homes, vehicles, motorcycles, rental properties, cottages, boats, recreational vehicles and businesses.
For its part, All-Risks Sudbury has provided insurance services to Chelmsford in Ontario’s Greater Sudbury area since 2009.
“The brokerage is known for its knowledgeable insurance professionals who offer personalized service and tailored solutions for home, auto and commercial insurance,” BrokerLink says in the release. “Over the last 15 years, the All-Risks Sudbury team built a reputation for excellent customer service and are proud to have grown their office into one of the area’s leading insurance providers.”
Family-owned and operated All-Risks Callander was established in 2019. The brokerage offers personal and commercial insurance, specializing in coverage for the aviation and healthcare services industries. “The All-Risks Callander team is dedicated to the community they live and work in, and is a proud supporter of local sports teams, events, children’s charities, community housing, clothing and food drives,” BrokerLink adds.
The employees of all three brokerages will continue serving their communities as part of the BrokerLink team. BrokerLink is one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance brokerages with more than 200 branches and 3,700 employees.
BrokerLink has now completed more than a dozen acquisitions this year.
Most recently, it closed deals on two brokerages in the Greater Toronto Area: William C. Aitken Insurance Ltd. and Louis Meier Insurance Brokers Ltd.
William C. Aitken Insurance provides home, auto and various specialty commercial insurance coverages; Louis Meier Insurance provides personal home and auto insurance, as well as commercial property and auto, among other offerings.
