Burns & Wilcox has announced the appointment of Carrie Chappie (pictured above) as associate managing director in its Pittsburgh management team.
In her new role, Chappie will be responsible for overseeing the Pittsburgh office’s day-to-day operations and growth strategy. She will report to Drew Dean, Burns & Wilcox associate vice president.
Chappie has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, she served as president of wholesale at Conway E&S. Chappie has also held roles at Marsh and AIG Risk Management.
“A fixture in the Pittsburgh insurance community for many years, Carrie comes to us with a solid foundation of industry relationships,” Dean said. “She is well-respected by her peers and has a great reputation amongst our carrier partners.
