Specialist insurance provider CFC has appointed Emma Suschkov as cyber development manager in Canada.
Based in Toronto, Suschkov will be responsible for strengthening corporate relationships and helping create new broker connections, CFC says in a press release Tuesday. Working closely alongside her underwriting and claims counterparts in London, she will drive the development of CFC’s Canadian cyber offering and support broker education in the region.
“Emma brings a wealth of cyber knowledge and is a welcome addition to our growing Canadian team,” says Kate Della Mora, CEO at CFC Canada. “She is a well-known and respected cyber leader and we are glad to have her on board to bolster our development efforts. Growing CFC’s cyber team on the ground represents a further step to deepening our relationships and perfecting our service offering for brokers and clients in this key territory.”
Suschkov joins CFC from Coalition, where she worked for more than three years in various roles, including underwriting leader and production underwriting manager. She previously held underwriting and technology management roles at both Travelers and AIG.
Headquartered in London, U.K., with offices across Europe, North America and Australia, CFC has more than 1,000 employees, and more than 150,000 business clients in 90 countries.
CFC says it will continue strengthening its local presence with the appointment of additional team members in the coming weeks.
In January, CFC announced the appointment of Matthew Glenville as its new group chief operating officer. It also added to its cyber roster last year with the appointment of Kelly McGuinness as cyber, tech and professional liability development leader for its new Canada office.
CFC launched its first Canadian office in Toronto last May, with the goal of bringing the MGA closer to its broker partners, CFC said at the time. It also appointed Kate Della Mora as the new CEO of CFC Canada.
