The presumably next government coalition in Brandenburg has learned something from the traffic light coalition in Berlin. Namely, how not to do it. At least that's how the deputy state chairman of the BSW, Niels-Olaf Lüders, presented it on Wednesday. At the press conference in Potsdam, at which the SPD and BSW presented the draft of their coalition agreement, Lüders said that they had learned from the traffic lights that it was good not to get into too much trouble over “detailed questions”. In addition, the coalition partners in Berlin should have actually renegotiated their coalition agreement after two years. So in Brandenburg it's a good idea not to get bogged down in the small details right from the start.
