Several fish products that were sold at Kaufland and Aldi, among others, are affected by an urgent recall. Consumption is not recommended.
Friesenkrone Feinkost Heinrich Schwarz & Sohn GmbH is recalling various herring fillets in yogurt sauce and herring salad. This is what “produktwarning.eu” reports. This affects packs of 400/200 grams that were sold at Netto Marken Discount, Kaufland, Aldi and Norma.
A supplier had explained that there could possibly be small, thin metal threads in the ingredients supplied. For safety reasons, the affected products should not be consumed and returned to the point of sale.
Several products are affected by the recall
A number of products from various discounters are affected by the recall.
- With Norma : “Fjordkrone herring fillets in yogurt sauce” in the 400 gram pack, best before dates: November 26th, 2024, December 3rd, 2024 and December 5th, 2024
- At Kaufland : “K-Classik herring fillets in yogurt sauce” in the 400 gram pack, best before date: December 3rd, 2024
- At net : “SeaGold herring fillets in yogurt sauce” in the 400 gram pack, best before dates: November 28th, 2024, November 29th, 2024, December 2nd, 2024, December 3rd, 2024 and December 5th, 2024
- At Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd : “Almare herring fillets in yogurt sauce” in the 400 gram pack, all best-before dates up to and including December 5th, 2024
- also at Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd : “Almare The Dane – herring salad with dill and pink pepper”, “Almare The Swede – herring bites in honey mustard cream” and “Almare The Red – red herring salad with apple and beetroot”, each in the 200 gram pack and with the Best before date December 3rd, 2024
