For the dialysis specialist FMC it is a return after nine months. Its major shareholder Fresenius is also part of the Dax. For FMC, the Vonovia subsidiary Deutsche Wohnen is moving into the MDax small cap index. With a free float of twelve percent, the housing group only just meets the criterion for an index place. The upcoming profit transfer and control agreement could lead to the free float continuing to decline in the foreseeable future. The laser specialist LPKF will return to the SDax small value index on December 27th.
Changes that were decided at the beginning of the month are imminent in the MDax and SDax on Monday (December 23rd). The used car dealer Auto1 and the biotech company Evotec will then move into the MDax for the metal recycler Befesa and the car and industrial supplier Stabilus. Three companies are joining the SDax: the software company Nexus, the newcomer Springer Nature and the Munich biotech company Formycon. They replace the office furniture retailer Takkt, the Thyssenkrupp hydrogen subsidiary Nucera and the US network company Adtran Holdings, the parent of the Bavarian Adtran Networks (formerly Adva Optical), which is also listed on the US technology exchange Nasdaq.
