According to US authorities, Iranian cyber actors have attempted to influence the upcoming presidential election campaign. Messages containing non-public material from the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump were sent in the summer to people involved in President Joe Biden's re-election campaign, according to a joint statement by the FBI, the cybersecurity agency CISA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Wednesday.
