The European rapid warning system RAPEX is currently issuing an acute warning against the use of ROH brand steel rims with the designation Trak 2 7017 and the EC type approval number KBA 51377, as Produktwarnung.eu reports. As can be read in the message, there can be dimensional deviations in the hub area of the rims, which can lead to wheel breakage.
As a result, the operational stability of the car is reduced, which significantly increases the risk of an accident. We therefore strongly advise against further use of the rims. The manufacturer has since responded and recalled the products.
