The first round of the DFB Cup takes place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The live rights are also this season with Sky. What hardly anyone knows: If you don’t want to take out a subscription, you can also watch all games of all rounds individually in the OneFootball app via live stream.
At the start of this year’s Bundesliga season with the first round of the DFB Cup this weekend, football fans are reminded of an exciting offer:
As in the last three seasons, the pay-TV provider Sky is also cooperating with the soccer smartphone app OneFootball in the 2022/2023 season, making it possible to stream all games in the DFB Cup and the second Bundesliga without a subscription . The live broadcasts from Sky can be booked and followed directly in the Onefootball app for the one-off price of EUR 3.99.
The live streams of individual games can be activated very easily with an in-app purchase and viewed on both a smartphone and a tablet. However, it is not possible to transfer the matches to a larger screen or TV via screencast.
As part of a DFB campaign for environmental and climate protection, all first-round matches in the DFB Cup this weekend will be kicked off one minute later. As the German Football Association explained, the time should be used for loudspeaker announcements on the subject of climate protection. Four games started on Friday evening.
Because the clubs RB Leipzig and FC Bayern Munich are playing this year’s Supercup at the same time at the weekend, the DFB Cup games of these two teams have been postponed to the end of August. Exactly which games to watch:
