German economic researchers have reached zero. On average, the major economic research institutes expect only economic stagnation and zero growth in Germany this year. Given the very weak economic development, this could worsen in the coming months and lead to a contraction, as predicted by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, with a minus of 0.1 percent. Last year, German economic output had already shrunk by 0.3 percent.
