EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants has acquired the Lafayette, CA-based SLCO LLC, expanding the former’s presence in Northern California while adding to its client offerings.
SLCO is a provider of employee benefits, property & casualty, and personal lines solutions. It has a nationwide reputation for “comprehensive service capabilities, sophisticated product offerings and customized insurance solutions,” a release said. Following the closure of the deal, SLCO will continue to serve clients from its California offices in Lafayette, Santa Rosa, and Novato, under the leadership of SLCO practice leader Matthew Sitzmann.

Earlier this month, EPIC acquired The National Benefit Corp (TNBC), a full-service service insurance marketing organization based in West Des Moines, IA. Founded in 1977, TNBC offers advisors a wide range of financial products such as life and long-term care and disability income insurance – with a specialization in annuity solutions.
