The trading platform Etoro obtained the regulatory approval of the Cyprus (CYSEC) securities commission as part of the European MICA regulation Recently entered into application, allowing it to offer, among other things, trading and cryptocurrency trading services throughout the European Union.
This certification also opens access to the markets of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, although these countries are not part of the EU.
The MICA regulation, which entered the full application at the end of last December, requires Crypto companies to obtain a license from digital asset service provider (CASP), guaranteeing a unified regulatory framework through the 27 Member States.
