The blockchains landscape hosts a new French player with the launch of the Hyli Public Testnet. Behind this project carried out from Paris by Sylve Chevet and its teams, a clear ambition: to make the power of the Zero-Knowledge Prooffs (ZK) finally accessible to developers, without imposing the complexity usually associated with these technologies.
Hyli, a blockchain Made in France Layer 1
Halli positions himself as a Layer 1 blockchain fully thought out around “Proof-Powred Applications”. Where most blockchains force developers to juggle between performance, security and simplicity compromises, Hyli intends to break this dynamic by natively integrating cryptographic evidence.
The latter, embodied by evidence with zero disclosure of knowledge (ZK Prooffs), make it possible to execute part of the off-chain calculation while guaranteeing the integrity of the results, opening the way to faster, more scalable and less expensive applications for the user. Hyli's objective is precisely to simplify the implementation course of ZKPs for developers.
The Public Testnet of Hyli unveils several concrete demonstrations of this approach today: Portfolio, order book, on-chain messaging service or fully decentralized mini-games are directly available for users.
📃 What blockchain training to follow in 2025?
In less than a year, our team has designed a new fully developed blockchain from zero, including a personalized rust customer and a tailor-made consensus algorithm. And this is only the beginning.
In the coming weeks, Hyli will also publish technical analyzes detailing the construction of these applications and illustrating how the platform simplifies complex use cases compared to other blockchains.

An approach designed for developers
Beyond its technical performance, Hyli relies on an optimized developer experience. The platform is notably compatible with the Rust language, which allows engineers to take advantage of blockchain features without having to learn a new specific language.
Under the hood, Hyli relies on his own open-source consensus algorithm called Autobahn, designed to maximize speed and safety. The chain also incorporates the “pipelined province”, a technique to avoid waiting times linked to the generation of Zero-Knowledge Prooffs. Finally, the native composition of evidence facilitates interoperability between the different applications deployed on the network.

Supported in particular by Framework Ventures, Hyli is in line of projects seeking to reconcile the user experience of the web2 with the power of decentralization. “” Zero-Knowledge Prooffs are one of the most powerful tools in computer science, but so far, they were too complex to use. Hyli changes the situation Summates Rajiv Patel O'Connor, partner at Framework Ventures.
