From May: Vodafone increases prices for DSL and landline tariffs
Existing Vodafone customers will have to expect higher prices for DSL and cable fixed networks from May. Affected customers will be informed immediately about the price increases.
According to a report by check24, Vodafone will increase prices for existing customers from May. Since March, the first customers have been informed by letter about the higher costs for the Internet contracts. The prices increase by five euros.
Older DSL and cable landline tariffs are probably the most affected. This also includes the gigabit tariff “GigaCable Max”. In the meantime, Vodafone has also confirmed the price increases to Verivox.
The price increase will apply eight weeks after you receive the letter. However, customers can make use of a special right of termination.

Customers who do not accept the price increase have the right to extraordinary termination up to three months after receipt of the letter. If you have already exceeded the minimum term of your contract, you can also cancel monthly thanks to the revised Telecommunications Act.
Just like Telefónica O2 and PŸUR, Vodafone had already increased the prices for some tariffs by five euros in November 2022. At that time, however, almost exclusively new customers were affected. 1&1 had also increased the prices for new customers. Telekom, on the other hand, initially only reduced the discounts for new customers.
