Guy Carpenter, a risk and reinsurance specialist and a business of Marsh McLennan, has announced that it has entered an agreement with TNEDICCA, a provider of location-based traffic-crash intelligence and predictive analytics. The agreement will allow Guy Carpenter to provide enhanced auto analytics to its insurance carrier clients.
Guy Carpenter will use TNEDICCA’s location risk products for the US personal and commercial auto marketplace. Having access to this data will assist Guy Carpenter clients in developing ratemaking and underwriting strategies, resulting in a more accurate assessment and pricing of auto risks.
TNEDICCA analytics make use of nationwide, geo-coded police crash report data in order to generate risk scores.
