Shower steamers are ‘bath bombs’ that you place on your shower floor rather than your bathtub. They are different from bath bombs in shapes and the way they are used to release their essential oils.
In contrast to bath bombs, you can use shower steamers even if you do not have the luxury of time because you do not have to soak it in water to release its oils or yourself in water to enjoy the benefits of the shower steamer.
They are often molded in shapes that will comfortably sit whenever you place them so they don’t mess up the entire floor of your shower with their oils.
How Long Do Shower Steamers Last?
The question of how long a shower steamer lasts solely depends on the ingredients in the shower steamer and how much water comes in contact with the shower steamer itself.
In essence, the more the water that reaches the shower steamer, the faster it diffuses and release its essential oils.
Usually, a shower steamer lasts for about five to ten minutes. This is because most ready-made shower steamers come in small sizes which can only survive a shower and probably not more.
But if you go the extra mile of doing it yourself, you could make them in large sizes that would last for 2 showers or more.
So,
