If you buy a new car with a new electric drive, you will switch brands more quickly. This is where Polestar boss Ingenlath sees his chance.
Wt is to emerge from the Swedish car brand Polestar, many car fans and potential customers will only really guess in the coming days when the photos of the Polestar 3, a sporty and really expensive SUV that is positioned as a competitor to the successful Porsche Cayenne, make the rounds. but just in contrast to the Porsche SUV with a purely electric drive in the race.
Polestar has so far only been present on the car market with the “Polestar 2” model, presented at the Geneva Motor Show in spring 2019 and on sale since 2020. As a 4.60 meter long car, with a notchback silhouette and still five doors at a price of 43,700 euros before the state e-car subsidy, however, the first Polestar offer could be misunderstood as an ordinary mid-range product. But company boss Thomas Ingenlath wants to go much higher.
