Join Michael Divjak, B.Comm, FCIP, CRM, DKI Miller Business Development Manager, to take a high level overview of the process of a claim and the role of the Restoration Contractor.
Here’s What We Will Cover:
1) In this one-hour presentation, attendees will understand the information on how a property loss claim develops from reporting to conclusion with the involvement of a restoration contractor. The claims reporting process and communication from Insured to broker to contractor are highlighted.
2) Explanation of common perils encountered are discussed, describing the losses occurring from ‘wet and mouldy’ situations, notably, water damage due to sewer backup, infiltration, ice damming and other related losses. Subsequent mould remediation techniques are explained as are the emergency services required.
3) Specialty equipment used and providing examples of the restore process for contents are included. Quizzes and questions and answers throughout will be included.
