Agrano GmbH & Co. KG is recalling a batch of its products due to possible metal shavings in organic cube yeast. According to the portal food warning from Friday, it is “BIOREAL organic cube yeast” and “Riegeler organic yeast” (best before November 20th, 2022) with the batch number 4331.
The company announced that it cannot be ruled out that metal chips one to two millimeters in size got into the products due to a technical defect. Affected countries are therefore Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Schleswig-Holstein.

Alnatura and Agrano are recalling their cube yeast
Metal abrasions were also discovered in yeast cubes at Alnatura. The products in the 42-gram pack with the best-before date on November 20, 2022 are affected. Consumption is strongly discouraged due to the risk of injury.
In both cases, the affected products can be returned to the respective sales outlets for a refund of the purchase price without presenting a receipt.
