Precisely, the author of the bestseller “The Big Short”, Michael Lewis, spent several months with the ex-billionaire and is working on a book whose end already promises to be “dramatic and surprising”.
A book on the FTX case?
Do you know the story of “The Big Short”, Michael Lewis’ bestseller, whose film adaptation was an exceptional success in 2015? It tells the story of some people having anticipated the great crisis of 2008 by making a huge downside bet, amassing several hundred million dollars.

In other words, the successful author would hold in his hands one of the most incredible stories of the world of finance. Originally intended to tell the rise of a very young multi-billionaire at the head of a cryptocurrency empire, with a profile as atypical as it is endearing, this book will finally deal with of his huge scam and his descent into hell.

Barely announced, and not even written yet, the book by Michael Lewis is already at the heart of numerous negotiations on the Hollywood side. The Deadline media claims that Apple would be very close to buying back the film rights to adapt it into a feature film.
The streaming service’s service giant plans to place an amount “ seven digits », in an effort to prevent Netflix or Amazon from getting ahead of it. Indeed, since the fall of the FTX platform and the mind-blowing revelations about the embezzlement of Sam Bankman-Fried, the case generated a great deal of interest.
For the moment, nothing has been put on paper but Michael Lewis has the necessary content and ingredients to create an explosive cocktail which should make this story even more impactful than it already is. As for the adaptation to the cinema, it will be necessary to wait a few years.
