He came into the limelight after appearing in the famous television show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain,’ telecasted on the &TV channel as Dr Gupta. Jeetu Gupta lost his 19-year-old son on 28 September 2022 after which he hit the headlines. He shared this news on one of his social media accounts. He penned,

Career
In 2008, Jeetu Gupta appeared in the comedy television show Hello Kaun Pehchan Kaun on Star One. Later, he went on to appear as a comedian in popular Indian television shows including Comedy Champion on Sahara One, Lapata Gang, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai, FIR on Sab TV, Paanch and Its Complicated on Channel V, Baawre on Life OK, CID on Sony TV, Nautanki the Comedy Theatre and Beinteha on Colors.
He rose to prominence when he started appearing on the popular television serial ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ as Dr Gupta. The serial is aired on &TV channel.
According to Jeetu Gupta, he used to give comedy performances on small stage shows during the early years of his acting career. He appeared in a live show along with veteran Indian actor “Apurv Agnihotri” in 1999.
Jeetu Gupta often performs comedy shows as a standup comedian on the YouTube channel ‘Manoranjan.’

Jeetu Gupta earned the guest of honour “Karmveer Achievement award” in December 2021 by Jagat Janani Manav Seva Trust in Mumbai.
Facts/Trivia
- On 27 September 2022, Jeetu Gupta shared on one of his social media accounts that his son was suffering from a high fever and was serious. He requested all of his fans and relatives to pray for his son, who was on a ventilator. He shared a note that read,
My son’s condition is critical in ventilator, please pray for my son.”
After a few days, his son died at the age of 19. Soon after the death of Aayush, Indian comedian Sunil Pal shared the death news of Aayush on social media. Sunil wrote,
Bhabhi ji Ghar per hai k Actor Mere Bhai Jeetu k Gupta k Suputra Aayush (19 years) nahi rahe, (Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actor and my brother Jeetu Gupta’s son has passed away).”
