Almost two weeks before the state elections in Thuringia, the leading candidate of the “Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht” signaled that her party would also support legislative proposals from the AfD.
In an election forum for the top candidates of the MDR on Thursday evening, BSW politician Katja Wolf responded to a question on this subject by saying that a “blinkered way of dealing with each other is actually no longer appropriate”. It is not necessary to find a normal way of dealing with the AfD, but a “substantive way of dealing with it”. Wolf left the moderator's reply that this should be seen as a yes to possible joint votes uncommented.
