Involvement in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder
On 9 June 2022, Keshav was arrested from Bathinda after his bike was found in Dabwali. The police took the shopkeeper in custody, who let Keshav park the bike in front of his shop. After some interrogation, the police revealed that he came to park the bike on 29 May 2022, and did not come to take it for many days. Keshav was accused of providing weapons to the murderers of Sidhu Moosewala. The police reported that before the murder, he was seen with Sandeep Singh alias Kekda taking selfies with the singer. Sandeep Singh had also helped Keshav take a recce of Moose Wala’s home and nearby areas on 29 May 2022.

- Reportedly, he was a drug addict.
- In an interview, his mother and sister told the police that they last met Keshav on 24 May 2022. Before leaving the house, he had told them that he was going to Chandigarh for some work, and later, they got to hear his name in Moosewala’s murder.
- In 2020, he was also facing trial for the murder of Lalit of Paras Ram Nagar, who was shot dead near the Bathinda Improvement Trust office. According to the sources, he was lodged in Ferozepur jail where he got in contact with another gangster, Manpreet Singh, alias Manna.
- Before arresting him, the police arrested his sister and said that they would return her only when Keshav was found by the police.

- According to his sister, they had disowned him.
- Reportedly, he was a member of gangster Lali Maud’s group. He used to collect weapons from Amritsar and supply them to the killers.
