The Ledger hardware wallet manufacturer is diversifying its activities by presenting Ledger Enterprise TRADELINK, a new solution for institutional players.
In short, it is a service that facilitates over-the-counter (OTC) trading by bringing together access to several brokers on a single platform, in particular thanks to an API connection system. .
Among these exchanges, we find for example Crypto.com, Wintermute, Bitstamp or Huobi to name a few. The main advantage of this service is that it allows traders to have access to a varied source of liquidity in one place, without having to make numerous transfers of fundsthus constituting a significant time saving in their operations.
In addition, this solution is customizable at will in order to adapt the work environment to the needs of each fund manager.
In addition, it also contributes to diversify counterparty risk by depositing assets with several players, rather than operating with a single custodian which could go bankrupt.
On his side, Ledger will not apply additional fees on transactions made. The company effectively describes itself as “a technology provider, not a financial intermediary“. In this way, TRADELINK is a free service for customers securing their digital assets using Enterprise Ledger.
