Most recently, Lewandowski had already scored twice in the 4-1 win over San Sebastian. Only in his league debut, the 0-0 draw against Vallecano, did the Polish national team captain remain goalless.
The unbeaten Catalans, who also included French signing Jules Kounde for the first time, are now second in the Spanish league with seven points.
Defending champions Real Madrid jumped back to the top of the table in the evening. At Espanyol Barcelona, the Champions League winner won 3-1 (1-1) late. It is the fourth win in the fourth competitive game of the season for coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
