A little journey through time: Here you can download historical Bravo editions for free
If you would like to take a look back at your own youth, then you should definitely take a look at the Bravo archive. You can download numerous old issues from 1956 to 1994 and browse comfortably – and laugh about how times have changed.
If there is a truly iconic youth magazine, it must be Bravo – young people have been reading the magazine since 1956. Although the circulation has fallen significantly in recent years, the magazine, which was previously published weekly, is now only available on a monthly basis. But many who have long since outgrown the paper should still remember the magazine well.
If you want to go back to that time or leaf through a piece of history, you can do so for free in the Bravo archive. Because there are currently almost 40 issues from the years 1956 to 1994 available for free download.
Editions from 1956 to 1994
The old issues are available for download in the Bravo archive: for 1956 to 1994, the publisher provides the first issue of the year as a PDF free of charge, a total of 39 issues that can be opened and read on a computer or tablet. If that’s not enough for you, you can buy other old editions.
Flipping through the old magazines should bring a smile to most readers, just looking at the old ads and the included TV programming. However, the short excursion into nostalgia also shows some downsides. Whether the well-known advice pages called “Dr. Summer” or diet tips – many of the articles from that time not only seem strange, but downright dangerous. So you shouldn’t imitate tips like “Slim in a week”, but they are always for entertainment.
