Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has threatened Iran with a “lethal” retaliation. “Anyone who tries to harm the State of Israel will pay a price,” Galant said on the X platform. “Our attack in Iran will be deadly, precise and surprising.” Galant said this in a conversation with soldiers visiting her unit.
Last week, Iran directly attacked Israel with around 180 missiles. The government in Tehran also supports the Shiite militia Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen, which in turn repeatedly attack Israel.
“The recent Iranian attacks on Israel were aggressive, but they failed because they were not precise,” Galant said during the visit, according to his office.
